We organized the Balaton Pétanque Festival for the first time in 2022. The idea was given by the popularity of our international competitions previously organized as the Szigliget Cup, players from 23 countries in 5 years were brought to us. That is why we felt it necessary to organize an event, where everybody in several formations can play here. Not to mention that the competitors came from several countries outside of Europe. Last year's festival proved that it is worth continuing. Altogether 12 countries competitors came to us. Claude Azema the president of FIPJP honored the festival in the last year with his presence .
